Microsoft Surface RT HD video and gaming

I’ve heard a few reviewers say that 1080p video is not smooth and that gaming (specifically Hydro Thunder) is laggy and doesn’t play well. I prove them wrong. Enjoy. You can turn the graphics up to the max in the settings without any problems on the Surface RT. Yes I know the screen doesn’t have super high resolution so please refrain from commenting on that.

CES 2013: Sharp shows off super-sharp 8K TV, waits for content

Seemingly every television manufacturer at the Consumer Electronics Show this week is showing off an UltraHD (also known as 4K TV) set, offering stunningly good pictures on very large screens. Only one, though, seems to be touting an even higher-resolution technology. That would be Sharp, which is showing an updated version of the 8K TV prototype it unveiled last year.

The Surface is Microsoft’s 10.6-inch-screen tablet that is taking on the 9.7-inch iPad. The 9.3 mm thick Microsoft tablet has a 1366-by-768-pixel resolution and it runs on an NVIDIA T30 processor. It uses Windows RT, which is a slimmed-down version of Windows 8 made for tablets.
