Maintain barefoot-friendly floors every day with iRobot’s Mint 4200, the robot that uses disposable or microfiber cleaning cloths to sweep and mop virtually and hard-surface floor, including tile, vinyl, hardwood and laminate. Sweep Mode moves in straight lines back and forth to efficiently and thoroughly pick up dust, dirt and hair. Mop Mode uses a special mopping action and wet cleaning cloths to pull deeper dirt and grime off your floors. Works with either disposable cleaning cloths or our specially designed reusable microfiber cloths. Cleans under and around furniture and in tight spaces where dirt and hair collect. Mint’s NorthStar System works like an indoor GPS to help the robot keep track of where it has been and where it needs to go. In a single cleaning cycle, Mint 4200 dry sweeps up to 800 sqft and mops up to 250 sqft. Starts by cleaning open areas, moving methodically back and forth in parallel lines. As Mint encounters obstacles, it either cleans around them and continues on its path or turns around, saving the area ahead for later. Once Mint completes open areas, it follows with a perimeter sweep for a complete clean. Cleans under sofas and tables and gets into tight areas where large vacuums can’t. PerfectEdge Technology allows Mint to clean dust and dirt right along walls, baseboards and edges. Smart built-in sensors help Mint avoid stairs, area rugs and raised transitions to carpets. Energy-Absorbing Bumper makes Mint gentle on walls and furniture. Just attach a cleaning cloth to the removable magnetic cleaning pad, set Mint down and press either the Sweep or Mop button. After cleaning, just throw out disposable cloths or rewash and reuse the included microfiber cloths. Rechargeable Battery lasts up to three hours dry sweeping and up to two hours wet mopping, so you can run Mint 4200 in several cleaning areas on a single charge. When Mint is done cleaning, it returns to the place where it started and powers down automatically
