The RCC 326/327 is a high quality True RMS AC/DC Clamp-on Tester. It has a CAT III 600V rating and is C-UL labelled.
This unit would not power-up, disassembled and troubleshot the circuit boards, soldered cold solder joints then found a broken lead on the main crystal component. Repaired and soldered the broken lead and meter was functional again.
Also examined a GREENLEE CM950 clamp-on, zeroed tester. Unit had some left over, residual magnetism in core metal of clamp-on that was affecting zero position, REL function used to compensate for this.
